Mark Twain’s Gilded Age walking tours takes you back in time to the summer days Samuel & Olivia Clemens enjoyed in Elmira New York. They lived longer in Elmira at Quarry Farm than there home in Hartford Connecticut. Three of their four children were born here. Mark Twain and his family are buried here in his wifes family plot the Langdons. Located at Woodlawn Cemetery. Known as a sculpture cemetery.

These High Victorian classic homes are in Elmira’s Near Westside National Historic District. Visit and tour on the inside of several beautifully restored “Gilded Age” (coined by Mark Twain) Victorian homes, Churches, and Carriage Houses. Walk the streets Mark Twain walked.
