This lovely recline has reclined in front of this little gem for 7 weeks now. I actually took a pic weeks ago but thought for sure this would be taken care of by now. It is around the corner from 353 Davis Street the Near Westside Neighborhood Association Incorporated, also on the corner of Second and Davis Street. Also known as Horigan's Restaurant corner and Booth School. Over 7 weeks ask any employee!

WHAT? Does it take to wake up THIS community.....WHAT! How much BANG for OUR buck $$$ do we get from the Elmira Code Department. HOW much money is being spent. WOULD some increase code's budget so we can get some things accomplished. I am sure $250.000.00 should start some action in next years budget. Also hire two more code officers that would cost $206.000.00 totaling $456.000.00. Please add this immediately into your city budget. You have the below photo to prove that we need to do this. We also need to increase the fire departments budget immediately. I have been lead to believe we do not have adequate river safety rescue equipment.

Look for future updates soon! The next photos are going to trip some triggers! As always thank you for your valuable time.

A GARY FREDRIKS HUMMMM ...

Looks like no fire hazard here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

320 West First Street circa 1852

Carriage house with cupola, wide doors and batten boards. Was used as stables. Was abated by code in 2006 but was left not boarded up and abandoned by them. It was filled up again with junk and this happened. Why did code not board this up. How much money did it cost the city to take care of this mess after it burnt to the ground?
